|it_will_be_okay||02:53 am - winter concert|
i'm not in band. i was at the winter concert though and i just want to say that VD is really dumb or lying or something if he didn't realize that a 22 song show would be painfully long. didn't he write the program? doesn't he teach all you people? yeah i think he does. i know the spring one won't be that way and if my band geek wasn't graduating this spring, i would boycott the winter show if it was going to be that long again. and, sorry but the strings sucked really bad.

Believe me, the man isn't dumb. He knew it was going to be that long. He just said that to appease the audience, although it didn't seem to amuse you. Ha. That seems like something I would make fun of him for.
This was the first year the county's strings program made it to the high school level so (a) it was the first time that strings were on the concert ever and (b) it won't really be that good. I hate strings anyway.
The spring one is always shorter because jazz has it's own concert. I probably won't be around for a winter concert ever again (my finals always overlap, as they did this year), but I think we all can hope the something will be done about it.
improve the strings
steps to improving the strings:
1. tune the instruments
2. play to your level
3. use instruments as firewood in bonfire
4. use bows to roast marshmallows with
following these 4 easy steps will make the string section more enjoyable to listen to
wait a second....there are strings at Thomas Stone????? When did that start?
